Correct TPI choice will result in smother, faster cuts and impressive blade life. It really makes a difference. Try to keep 3 or 4 teeth engaged in the material at all times. Too few teeth engaged will result in stripped teeth. Too many teeth will result in a dragging situation causing chips to pack the teeth and cause dulling and short blade life.
