SINGER 401A sewing machine

This machine is a model SLANT O MATIC 401A the first model SINGER cast aluminum slant needle fancy stitch sewing machine. This machine is RARE to have almost nick free clean shinny beige paint with very sharp lettering for a almost 75 year old machine.

I have included most of the accessories from my collection to make this package complete. If you grew up with this machine or your Mother had one you can bring back the great memories of how much fun it is to sew and pass it on to your children.

I cleaned, lubed, polished and run the machine and it runs very quiet, can run very slow and smooth. I have it in for sample stitches and will provide photos. This model machine the 401 incorporated many of the great features in Singer past machines including a built in motor with no belts, bevel gears, externa plug in wiring, loads of accessories etc. The model 401 also included more advance features selectable basic/fancy stitchel and cams, long slanted shank feet/attachments, front middle light, top loading bobbin and easy removable bobbin case, over 20 external fancy stitch pattern etc.

I included an automatic buttonholer with extral cams, the original manual with notes, feet, a pair of round nose WISS smaller Scissors, a pair of Clauss pinkers, etc. The last photos is of my folding Singer table that this machine can be put it in.
