Vintage Smith Corona 5te Electric Portable White Typewriter Cursive Script 1959

Vintage Smith Corona 5te Electric Portable White Typewriter CURSIVE Font 1959. This baby is so rad. The case, the CURSIVE font, the hum, it's so freaking cool.

Needs to be worked and get a little TLC. There is one key cover, CL (Clear), missing but other than that it's in good used condition for its age.

The ribbon is printing lightly. The touch selector dial makes the machine a little louder, with a rattle of sorts, when rotated to the number 5 and above it seems.

The font, it's really lovely. The case holds the typewriter in place and the top goes on and off as it should. The color is white but it should really be called off-white but maybe the description of white has changed over time so this was correct for 1959. The exterior of the case shows it's been around the block but still holds the typewriter in place internally and connects solidly.
